Tobaccoless in Toronto

Rosanne and I quit smoking today. It's official -- We're now both non-smokers.

Only one problem, though. I don't really like non-smokers that much.

Oh, there's a few that I like. And hopefully I'll turn out just like them. So I ask all my friends to please put a bullet in my brain if I become preachy, self-righteous and arrogant towards smokers.

But there's no doubt that this is a very, very good thing. We're using the nicotine patch. In my opinion it's the best way to quit, knowing as I do that If I break down and have a smoke while having 21mg of nicotine pumped directly into my bloodstream, I may experience such mild side-effects as "heart liquification" and "aortic anyeurism".

I've also got a helluva nicotine patch head rush right now. Delicious.

I am convinced that I shall conquer this terrible addiction. I shall no longer be a slave to the cancer weed. I will finally overcome and reclaim my life. I am a non-smoker.

So If anyone feels they need to heed my plea and put a bullet in my brain, fine. Just don't be smoking while you do it. 'Cause you smokers disgust me.
