Brokeback Mountain suffered an unexpected defeat at the Oscars on Sunday night. Haven't seen it, don't know, don't care. We've got bigger problems, folks:

How the hell do you not nominate Star Wars for Best Visual Effects? Can someone please explain this to me? These are the people who invented all the special effects technology...and they weren't even nominated.

I mean, come on. It's not like anyone's suggesting that Revenge of the Sith deserves a nod for acting, or writing, or anything like that. But you'd think Best Visual Effects would be a lock for a nomination.
