Abdul Rahman is on trial in Afghanistan. He has confessed to converting to Christianity and is charged with 'rejecting Islam', a serious crime which carries a possible death sentence.

However, prosecutor Sarinwal Zamari said questions have been raised about his mental fitness to stand trial. "We think he could be mad. He is not a normal person. He doesn't talk like a normal person."
