Marijuana crackdown: it's about time!
I feel much safer now.
Stephen Harper announced yesterday that his government will not reintroduce legislation to decriminalize pot, and will in fact begin to crack down on the simple possession of marijuana.
Well, thank God we have a Prime Minister who is not afraid to take on the scourge of Canadian society. No, I'm not talking about homelessness. I'm not talking about child poverty. No, my friends -- we face a much greater evil than those lazy individuals who choose not to work or those ignorant children who choose to be poor.
No, that scourge is marijuana!

An evil force which corrupts it's users into altered states of consciousness. Unlike alcohol, which has a time honoured tradition of jovial good times and fellowship, marijuana gives users a "buzz" while they embark on a "trip" which leads first to liberalism, then to promiscuity, and finally on to armed robbery.
Those who use pot may think of this drug as harmless. However, they fail to realize that this substance is a drug, pure and simple. Further, it is known to be what's called a "gateway" drug. Susceptible teens may start off with marijuana, but before the end of the day they will be sucking dick for rocks of crystal meth, guaranteed. And how do we know this? Because America says so. And that's good enough for me.
